Totally appreciating the art and would never use a piece as an ~artsy~ Instagram photo op!!! 🙄😁

I guess I'm down to posting once a month now 🤷‍♀️ here's a before bed doodle that was supposed to be fun.. but I ended up agonizing over what photo to post of it..if I should even post a photo of it... I have such a love hate relationship with social media & sharing in general. I truly don't understand how so many artists on IG have new, amazing content to post every day. It inspires me and then depresses me. I struggle with figuring out how to afford to live while simultaneously trying to pursue new, authentic work. Lately (like..the past two years) I know I've tended toward making work I know will sell..instead of pushing myself into taking risks and setting goals. I know the $$ balance can be a lifelong struggle for a lot of artists but Instagram tricks me into thinking I'm the only one dealing with this. Please someone tell me I'm not!
